FAQ

What is a Super Saturday?
An awesome Relief Society activity with food, crafts & lots of fun!  Come find out for yourself!  This one will have several crafts to get you into the Christmas spirit!

Who is invited?
All of our lovely Relief Society sisters are invited as are any friends/neighbors you think would have a good time crafting and socializing with us!

How do I sign up for crafts/classes?
There are two ways to sign up:

1) Online - http://restonsupersaturday2013.blogspot.com/p/paid-crafts-sign-up.html  Make sure you choose how many of each craft you would like to do from the drop-down menu.

2) Sign-Up Sheet passed around Relief Society on Sundays.

How do I pay?
You can pay in cash or a check (written out to Jenna Anderson).  Once you sign up, you can calculate what you owe and pay.  We will also keep a log of what people owe so feel free to contact either Jenna Anderson or Katie Baird if you have questions about how much you owe.

What crafts are available to sign up for?
Check them out here: http://restonsupersaturday2013.blogspot.com/p/paid-crafts-sign-up.html

Do I have to sign up for crafts to come?
NO!  We would love to see you even if you don't feel like crafting with us.  We will have delicious food and some fun activities going on that are free, so please come and visit with us!

What if I'm not crafty?
I will let President Dieter F. Uchtdorf answer this one:

"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.  No matter our talents, education, backgrounds, or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before."

"Everyone can create.  You don't need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty."

"You might say, "I'm not the creative type."... If that is how you feel, think again...  What you create doesn't have to be perfect...  Don't let failure discourage you."

Will there be food?
Of course.  This is a Relief Society activity, after all.  :-)

Will there be childcare provided?
No official childcare will be provided for this activity.  However, if you need help finding a babysitter Kassidy Cozzens is our childcare coordinator for this activity.  You can email her\ at kassidy.cozzens@gmail.com if you and would be happy to help you find a babysitter so you can come enjoy the activity!

I have a commitment during part of the time, can I come late/leave early?
YES! We would love to see you for any or all of the time during the activity!  Please come and go as you like!

What do I need to bring?
Your smiling face!  We will provide everything needed for the classes unless otherwise stated when you sign up for a craft.  We will be letting everyone know if we need things that could be donated/borrowed for the activity.

I'm tight on cash, will there still be things for me to do?
YES! We will have several different activities going on that will be FREE, including holiday card making, making missionary packages, etc.  Plus, there are always people that could use some extra help and encouragement to finish their crafts!  Come lend a helping hand!

What if I don't finish my craft during the Super Saturday?
We are supplying each of the crafts in a ready to go kit so that you can take it home at any point and finish it.  Instructions will be provided with the kit, as well as online here: http://restonsupersaturday2013.blogspot.com/p/recipes-craft-instructions.html

I can't make it to the activity, can I still buy some craft kits to do at home?
Absolutely!  We would love to see you there, but if you can't make it, please still feel free to sign up for the crafts you would like and we will get them to you after the activity.

Can I buy extra's for my friends/neighbors?
Of course!  We like to share the love with anyone and everyone!  Just make sure and let us know how many you need of each craft if you are doing this.
